A colorful future for polymer additives
Based on glycerol ester, lactate and stearoyl lactylate chemistries, our PATIONIC® polymer additives have a wide range of uses. In fact they are used as antistats, lubricants, acid/catalyst neutralizers, dispersants, mold release agents, processing aids, and antifogging agents to improve the processability of polymers - and the properties of your final product.
Our PATIONIC® polymer additives are used by producers to boost performance in the polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, and engineering thermoplastics industries. Furthermore, they are increasingly used by compounders, concentrate manufacturers, and other resin producers.
Solutions with glyserol esters
We offer a wide range of glycerol ester solutions to tackle antistat, antifog, lubrication, dispersion, release, and polymer processing problems – as well as bespoke solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers.
Applications: Antistats, antifogs, mold release and lubricants
Glycerol esters are natural chemical combinations of glycerine and fatty acid. Nature provides them in abundance (in the form of fats and oils) and chemically, these natural products are glycerol tri esters like soybean oil, tallow, lard, and sunflower oil. Most industrial applications for glycerol esters require mono or mono/di esters for optimum performance.
These products are loosely classified as GMS (glycerol monostearate), solid at room temperature; and GMO (glycerol monooleate), a semi-solid.
What can you use our polymer additives for?
- Blocking agents
- Mold releases
