Corbion Purac to showcase new lactide-based solutions for polyurethane coatings at the ACS
Booth #1349, American Coatings Show,
April 7-10, 2014
Corbion Purac, global market leader in lactic acid, lactic acid derivatives and lactides, focused on improving performance and sustainability, will be showcasing lactide based solutions for polyurethanes, alkyds and saturated polyester based coatings at the American Coatings Show in Atlanta.
PURALACT® Lactide based solutions provide lower viscosity, leading to lower VOC's, and significant reduction in CO2 footprint. These biobased solutions have been tested in several coating formulations and depending on specific use, enhance coating performance by improving properties such as; stiffness, adhesion, impact resistance, balance between hardness and flexibility, chemical resistance, better gloss retention and improved drying time.
Produced on a large industrial scale by Corbion Purac, our products are commercially available worldwide.
Join Corbion Purac expert, Mr. Bas van Leeuwen, on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. in room C205 at the Georgia World Congress Center, who will be delivering a presentation focused on "Lactide-modified polyester resins with enhanced coating performance." Experts will also be available at booth #1349 for technical, formulation and commercial advice.
