Better gut health

The lactic acid in our LAFEED® solution helps to improve pig gut health by preventing gastric ulcers in piglets. It works through acidification of the stomach, targeting the active agent that causes ulcers: Helicobacter pylori.

LAFEED® also acidifies the stomach and delays gastric emptying, giving the pancreas more time to produce digestive enzymes that help in digesting proteins. By retaining more nitrogen and phosphorus in the intestinal tract, it inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria like Escherichia coli and Salmonella.
